As we reflect on the past year, we’re reminded of the many ups and downs that shape our journey. Through it all, we feel truly blessed and grateful for the opportunities, the growth, and the love that surrounds us.
The kids continue to amaze us. Emma is thriving in 4th grade, excelling in her academics, and Max has already taken his first steps—he’s keeping us on our toes and filling our days with laughter. They’re both happy and healthy, which is more than we could ever ask for.
This year, we had to say a heartfelt goodbye to our beloved Boxer, Betty. She was with us for almost 11 wonderful years. When we discovered a lump on her back, we leaned on the compassionate care of Veterinario Eduardo at Vet & Pet Care in Bucerias to ensure she didn’t suffer. Letting her go was incredibly hard, but she’ll forever hold a special place in our hearts.
The very next day, a twist of fate brought us Maya. I stumbled upon a Facebook post about a boxer puppy up for adoption. After some thought, we welcomed her into our family. Maya has already stolen our hearts and become Max’s best buddy.
A Challenging Season
We faced some tough moments this year, including an outbreak of dengue fever. Daniela and I both caught it—at the same time! Caring for Max and Maya during that period was no small feat, but thanks to our friends and family and the incredible care from Dr. Victor Sainz at Santa Rosa Clinic as well as Hands Health, who provided hydration and essential vitamins, we made it through and are back on our feet.
To help us fully recover, we took a rejuvenating trip to Huatulco, Oaxaca, with friends. We stayed at the stunning Casa Tehuana, which offered the perfect balance of tranquility and inspiration. This beautiful property is now listed on our website, and if you’re interested in purchasing this amazing home, feel free to contact us—we’d love to share more details!

In addition, we are thrilled to announce the newest member of the BeachLife Properties team, Monse Gonzalez! Her warm and positive personality ensures that every guest feels genuinely welcome and cared for.
Moving To Mexico
The channel has been an incredible journey this year, surpassing 30,000 subscribers! Stories like Alana’s and Shari and Josh’s have resonated with so many, each amassing over 300,000 views.
It’s heartening to see how these stories inspire and connect with others. We want to take this moment to thank everyone who participated in our videos and all the members of the channel. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to offering more vacation giveaways in the near future!
Alana’s journey not only highlighted her move to Mexico but also her work with Casa De La Paz.
Thanks to your generosity, this initiative has gained much-needed support. We’ve also kept our viewers updated on Jim and Marilyn Moxin’s. Their resilience inspires us, and we’re optimistic about the completion of Casa De La Paz in 2025—a milestone that will benefit senior citizens in our community.
Looking Ahead
Despite moments of feeling overwhelmed, Daniela and I are deeply grateful for how far we’ve come. As we reflect on the year, we want to take a moment to thank you—our readers, clients, and community—for being part of our journey. Your support, kindness, and trust inspire us to keep growing and sharing what we love. Whether you’ve stayed in one of our properties, watched our videos, or simply cheered us on, please know how much you’re appreciated. Here’s to more memories, adventures, and connections in the year ahead. From our family to yours, thank you for being a part of ours!
Feliz Año Nuevo!
Reflecting on a Year of Growth Gratitude.
